Poet's Solitude

by Simon Hayes   Jan 31, 2007

Between finger and thumb
My love comes undone
Etched upon paper,
The caress of loves emotion
Turned away, erased.
Between finger and thumb
My heart cripples, numb.

This poem is beyond amazing. Tou have captured something with your words. Solitude .. Seldom found when needed. But a poet can always find his in berween the lines.

    powerful piece. Congrats on
    packing memorable punch
    with so few words.

    Nicely penned!

    Sie,

Written by a true poet, this write proves that a great poem need not be long, it is the words and the meanings expressed in the verse that count.

    Best regards,

    Steve
