The perfect boyfriend
would whisper "i love you" in my ear
and in his company
I'd have no reason to fear.

if i was having a bad day,
he'd be right there.
singing to me,
or playing with my hair.

someone who would push me on the swing,
and kiss me in the rain.
someone who, just to surprise me,
would do something unbelievably amazing.

he would kiss my forehead and,
throw pebbles at my window in the night
he would bring me flowers,
ask me to dance, and hold me tight.

he'd make my eyes sparkle,
he'd make me feel great.
make my knees go weak, and my body shake.

he'd make my heart flutter,
he'd make my world spin.
I'd fall in love
with the best of all men.
