Fairy Tales

by pank   Feb 1, 2007

Beneath the clouds of thriving grey,
Upon the darkness, to sleep I lay.

Lashing, smothering, sudden light.
Jagged blue against ebony that fights

For dominance, they seek
To destroy the moon so weak

No color, no warmth, bleak as can be
I close my eyes so I can't see.

Kill me softly, do not weep.
The tempest so cruel, my heart it keeps.

No sun can save me now,
From light and life I cow

Of terror, you may say,
But I accept this dying day.

Beneath the clouds of thriving grey,
Upon the darkness, to sleep I lay...

Such a sad ending to my temporary fairy tale
But in the end, shadows of my heart, do so prevail.
