she pulls open the string, revealing grains of golden sand...
she sees an older woman who resembles her....
this must be her mother...
she gives her a palm full of the grains...
she turns to the child next to her mother...
gives this child a palm full of grains as well...
she walks off into the city...
wind blowing ever so slightly...
pigeons flying overhead...
she passes an old woman...
the woman looks up at her and smiles...
the girl then gives the old woman a pinch of the sand...
the woman excepts it kindly and looks quite pleased with this...
throughout the town she finds more smiling faces that she hands little bits of the contents of the satchel bag to...
she walks to a bridge...
there is a tall, handsome man standing on the bridge, looking out to the river...
As soon as the girl sees him, she smiles her biggest smile...
she runs up to him as fast as she can...
she holds her satchel bag up to him...
he looks inside and smiles...
she reaches in and grabs almost all of the contents and hands them all to him...
he takes them in his hands..
he turns around to the side of the bridge facing the river...
he holds his hand out and blows the golden grains of sand out in the wind...
The girl looks at him...
she is confused...
she is shocked...
She runs away...
the wind picks up...
as she runs you can see a trail of sand flying behind her...
the camera looses the girl...
finally....
we find her sitting on the ground...
underneath a big tree with strong branches...
the girl is crying...
she holds her glowing satchel bag and turns it upside down to her palm...
