On a cold, rainy winter day,
Without packing you left away;
But that's life and how it seems,
Failures, broken hearts and faded dreams,
Everyone has to make his own way,
But when the moment comes, no one can stay...
As my heart glows like an ember...
I sit there alone and remember,
The good things we used to share,
How you always used to care,
How I left that morning without knowing,
That i wont see you anymore....
I didn't know that you're going,
And you'll never knock again the door,
You passed upon the life's stream,
Taking with you a precious dream,
But what you teached me still remains...
As the blood running through my vain...
About life, forgiveness and love,
About the glory of god up above...
You were my father that I lost early,
I wonder why life treats me unfairly...
You raised me, you made me who I am,
And left me with eyes aflame...
With lots of faith and bated breath....
You lived your life like a striven...
With open arms you joined death...
To meet God up in Heaven...
