When his eyes are blue
He sings to me
My heart swells up
But its bittersweet
For when his eyes are gray
He shuts me out
Leaving me hungry, dry
In a painful drought

Life's heaven-sent
And I believe what he's said
Is what he meant
But when his eyes are gray
He's filled with lies
The world is much colder
Than I realized

He says "I love you"
