Dear god

God,
I dont need the answers
to all of lifes questions,
just tell her I love her
and stay by her side.

Watch her for me
dont let her get lost.
You took her from us so early on,
although the time with her was well spent

God, let her pour out the rain,
walk across the Milky Way.
Tell her we love her,
and stay by her side.

Blue skies turned gray
as her little one slipped away,
We are trying to make sense of it all.
You gave her to us god,
just to take her short life away.

We dont need the answers,
to all of lives questions.
Just tell her we love her,
and stay by her side.

Were desperate for hope,
clouds darkening our view,
little one death day has came into view.
Your yoke is easy,
your burden is light.

God, her little brother is coming soon.
Emily, watch over the new little one,
make the time to love him,
although youre gone

Have her meet Mommy
in the delivery room, God.
Her mommy will need her there

Times will be hard,
but with you at our side,
we can carry on.
Knowing that you love her,
and are at her side.

Watch the new baby, God,
let him be healthy.
Emily, watch over you brother,
carry him to us.
Bring him safely,
and show him our love.

There are times when repetition is bad, but in this poem it fits so well. It brings a tear to my eye. I'm so sorry for what happened, but she is in a better place now. Thanks to this poem many more people will know a little bit about a girl who they had no idea existed until now.

This is a really beautiful poem. There is so much emotion and question in it. I'm sorry that this happened. I know that sometimes life gets rough, but hang in there. And keep writing. It's a great way to get out your feelings.
