Sadness

Suicidal tendencies
Flowing through my veins
I look out the window
And watch as it rains

The hate and anger
Just taking over my head
I can't think straight
So I wish I was dead

I scream out to god
Why do you make me live this way
I fear and I hurt
Every single day

No response is heard
As I sit alone
All my friends and family
Are away and gone

Nothing left to do
But hit the walls
I'll keep punching holes
Until it falls

Then the house will collapse
With me inside
And everyone will know
Just how I died

It was by my own hand
That I brought this to an end
No one was there to listen
Not even a friend

I was fading so quickly
I tried to tell everyone
But they had better things to do
So now I'm all done

I tried so hard
To deal with the madness
But when it took over
So did the sadness

I solved everyone else's problems
And set mine aside
When it was my turn
I sat alone and cried

You can push feelings
Only so deep
Or into your mind
They start to creep

Until they explode
In an emotional rage
And in this book
I turn the page

The story is over
Now my soul is no more
And my body is dead
Right down to the core
