Dark shadows from the past, keep appearing and reappearing, my hearts heavy and it beats fast, I'm in the driver seat but someone else is stirring. i need to move on with my life, but painful thoughts are penetrating my soul, my eyes bleed tears from all the strife, my body is hot but my heart is cold. I'm lost in a wilderness of memories ,I'm numb to the environment around me, my heart is locked and my lost love as the key, its a disturbing thought but she is the only one who can set my heart free.
