Think Before You Act

They never really knew
That all the things They said
Would really get to Her
Would even go to Her head.

They never knew She hid it
That She cried when She was alone
Nobody even saw it
When She was around loved ones at home.

They didn't stop to think
The things They said could hurt
They just thought it was all fun
And something that She deserved.

They didn't think
How it would feel if it was Them
They just humored Themselves
Until She thought it would never end.

They didn't see death
Crossing Her mind
They didn't think
That They were running out of time.

They didn't believe
She'd load the gun
They just thought it was all the beginning
When inside She knew She was done.

They didn't even care
That She was Their friend
They didn't think She'd put it to her head
That Her future, She was going to end.

Nobody stops to think
If it was Them or someone They care for
They just do it because they don't like Themselves
Or Their life sucks to Them because They're bored.

None Of Them think
That maybe it hurts
They just enjoy Themselves
Making others feel less than They're worth.

Next time You humiliate someone
Think before You do
Because the person that takes it all in
One day just might be You.
