Thankyou

There are always those people that don't treat you right,
There's always something wrong with you, your color or your height,
There'll be people willing to ruin your life,
Some days you'll think of turning to the knife.

But you've got to remember those good things too,
You've got to remember the people who love you,
There'll always be someone who's thinking of you,
Hoping you're safe, no matter what you do.

I'll be one, I'll always care,
And if you need me, I'll try to be there,
You're one of those people I'll never forget,
You're one of the people I'm so glad I met.

You're wonderful and thoughtful, you show that you care,
And if I ever need you, you try to be there,
You've been through so much and though I don't know it all,
I'll always be there to catch you if ever you fall.

There's so much I'd like to say to you,
To thank you for all that you do,
There's so many things that I should say,
But I can never seem to find the way.

So here is this poem, just to show,
That in my dark life, I see your glow,
For all that you do and say, thank you,
And I hope you'll let me be there for you too.
