When you came my heart was newly broken
When i should have been crying
I was laughing instead. After awhile
I could lean on you anytime
Eventually i realized
Just how much you cared for me
And i for you
Now here we are
The friendship we began with
Has grown into much more
I never thought
I would love again
The feelings i feel now
Have proved me wrong
**Its crazy how when u love someone, and they break ur heart. U always think ur never gonna move on. And then at some point in the future, u realize that most the hurt has gone away. Maybe somebody special helped u to heal n forget. This is what this poem was about. I wrote it when i had that realization that i could move on. Sure id have a place in my heart for the guy b4. But i have the ability to let another one in.
