Truth Of Love

When I walk in that room and saw you sitting there
My heart skipped a beat all I could do was stare

As I walked past you I saw you smile
And told myself \"just give it time he\'ll be yours in a lil while\"

The days went by so fast
And already we had so many memories we called our past

As we went on I felt as though we were meant to be
But I wondered did you feel the same about me

As we grew closer I ad my doubts
But after you told me you loved me I knew I wouldnt be able to figure this one out

Then three days later you said we were to be no more
And all that was left of me was another closed door

You promised not to break my heart
That we would be together forever or till death do us part

But now I see I was an idot how stupid of me for I just got played
And yet you walked away with what you wanted from the begining yea you got layed

Since then I\'ve realized that I\'m better without
Although it\'s still hard to think what could have been if it were indee jus us two

But oh well thats what I call my past
And those were the memories I thought were meant to last.
