Helpless

I cried at night,
And lied during the day,
The thought of you,
Drowned the tears away.
For without you,
I was helpless, useless, weak, and sad,
Those words best described me.

I thought that being with you,
I could face anyone,
Until that fateful day,
You sadly left me,
Letting me fall once more.
Now the thought of you,
Makes me weak to the heart,
No matter what happens,
It matters no more,
I am forever and always,
Helpless and weak.
