My Lord

My Lord is Jesus Christ
Who knows when I'm naughty and nice
This is my Lord

Jesus Christ lived long ago
And died because he loved me so
This is my Lord

Though every day I sin
I can ask forgiveness from him
This is my Lord

He lets me go my way
And helps me back if I stray
This is my Lord

In the Bible I read about His life
How He'd help others in strife
This is my Lord

He went to Heaven, but will be back again
So that he can clean the world of sin
This is my Lord

And ever since I turned seven
I knew that He'd take me to Heaven
I know this is my Lord
