In Cold Blood

by Jeremy B   Feb 3, 2007

Feelings of great anger
Before feelings of regret.
Actions in cold blood;
Evil for evil was met.

As he lies there
With no body motion,
I begin ta realize
What I did, though no emotion.

As I grabbed him
And told him not ta scream,
He tried ta run
And began ta live his worst dream.

As I grabbed the knife
And shoved it in deep,
I felt this rush and sorrow.
"So this is how it feels ta kill men."

My hands covered in red
As his blood rushed out.
This guy hardly struggled
And never attempted ta shout.

On this cold, blood stained floor
My victim is dead where he lay.
Forever shall this now haunt me,
For his death forever shall I pay.
