The Silent Death

by The DaveJon   Feb 4, 2007

Silent tears falling
The choking throat
The teeth marks on the lip
The white knuckled hands
Holding to the countertop
The mind racing

Praying
Begging
Dying

The blade that pierces
Are the words that are spoken
Going deep
To the innermost parts
Through the heart
To the soul

Praying
Begging
Dying

The sadness rushing
The pain gushing
The clenched jaw fighting
The heart screaming
The soul wailing
The eyes

Praying
Begging
Dying

The distance that kills
The oceans that murder
It was all overcome
For two people to love
But it all came back
And ruined the person

Praying
Begging
Dying
