To My Buddy

I've been waiting for so long
For a miracle to come find me
The world told me to be strong
I just had to open my eyes to see

Fear had been my in me for so long
I had lost my only love and all hope
I never thought I can ever get so strong
Or ever get the strength to cope

But when I look into your eyes
I find all the security I'll ever need
Fear is still lingering inside
But you're trying to set me free.

I don't know exactly how to say this
But you're the one who saw me through
You saw me when no one else did
And for all this I thank you.

When I lost my faith you brought it back to me
And for all that I want to repay you
I want to be your strength when you're weak
I want to be there to help make all your dreams come true

No matter if it's a big or small problem you have
I want to be there to help you every step of the way
When you feel like giving up I want to help you out
Just know that I'll always be there and never go away.

So I wrote you this poem to let you know
That you can always count on me
Just know that no matter what happens
I'll be there for you and never let go
I'll be there and hope you'll always be there for me, too.
