Hazel Eyes

by Joy Coleman   Feb 4, 2007

Those hazel eyes have been staring at me for 12 years
Day after day, night after night
"Go away!"
Watch yourself, don't want to repeat
More and more she's becoming a mirror
"I said go away!"
My ear suffers from the many stories
Tricks, jokes, dates....I've heard it all before
"Go away now!"
Those hazel eyes still stare
Day after day, night after night
"Hey Court, will you hang out with me?"
