The Death Of You

by Ashley Mullinax   Feb 4, 2007

Dreams are nightmares every night
When they involve you.
Go ahead and deceive me
The way you always do.
Slap my face
Make my vision spin
Borrow my trust
Then break it again.
Loving you is such a sin
But for some reason I do.

I sit and cry from abuse
The punishment of your hands
Sacrifice was made for you
The loss of all my friends.
Too bad for me
I'm not a Christian
I'm not sorry for hating religion
The only thing I regret
Is changing myself for you.

Darling you're such a hypocrite
And I'm never going back.
I will persist to be myself
Find someone with the things you lack.
Go to church and beg your savior
To possibly forgive you later
No longer your lover
But your hater
I promise...I'll be the death of you.
