Unconditional

by Ashley Ann   Feb 4, 2007

He felt a feeling so different
When he became a man
Holding his baby so small and sweet
Rubbing her little hands

That look he has when he gazes at her
Is one that is unknown
Unconditional love flows through his heart
No matter where he goes

Ever since that little baby,
became a part of that mans world
Each day that he woke up to the sound of her voice
A smile would unfurl.

Together forever and always
No love is stronger than theirs
Because of unconditional love,
smiles of joy, and unknown loving stares.

Great choice in a topic, it shows a vibrant detail of emotions. I would add commas and periods to the end of the lines so the reader knows where to pause, and it will improve the flow.

Very sweet poem, I loved how you showed it from a male perspective as opposed to the typical female perspective, that was very heartfelt. Great job!
