"I lost"

The day you walked out of my life
I not only lost one of my best friends I lost my heart too.
My heart broke in pieces because of you
and yet, I still love you more then you'll ever know
you mean so much to me and I wish I still had you by my side
yet, you don't even have a clue
you'll say to hell with you
what happened to the way it used to be?
You always made me happy as I could be
I never had to worry when I was around you
I could always be myself
and then all the sudden it changed
why?
I miss the way it used to be
between you and me
will I ever get my best friend back?
And my heart back too?
Well, if not I'll still love you
with every broken piece
