They say love is a fairy tale
But some fairy tales lie,
Our story is tragic
It starts and ends with bye

I should have walked away then
But I just couldn't’t let you go
And so I kept on trying
Kept on taking things slow

I’ll admit that I loved you
The first moment we met
Knew it was only you
That I would not forget

I wiped my tears away
I just could not let you know
