I’ve known you for as long as I can remember.
We drifted apart, and now because of my stupidity,
We’re closer than ever before. It’s hard to think that I’ll be
With out you come September.
You give me a reason to go on from day to day.
You put a smile on my face that is often wet with tears.
I now know that at least you care about how I feel inside. You
Always know just what to say.
You could have forgotten about me and gone on,
But you didn’t you stayed with me no matter what I did.
You asked me to take a second look at life, and I’m glad I did
You may be leaving but friends we will stay.
Some say your best Friend is someone
Who will be there for you through thick and thin.
When I think of my best friend one word comes to mind,
The best word in the world....
