Colors of Rain*Whispers of Pain

by KelseyinWonderland   Feb 4, 2007

No one needs
Someone like me.
And no one hears
My helpless pleas.

I'm just a lie
Just a dream.
I can't cry
Or feel a thing.

Or maybe I'm heartbroken
In need of help.
Inside I'm choking
Killing myself.

Outside I'm dead
But still alive.
Thoughts fill my head
And I can't survive.

The long days
The short nights.
The song still plays
And they still fight.

It's a miracle
It's a wish.
It's so satirical
And I'll tell you this.

I never hoped
You would go.
And so I moped
While you went on with the show.

To advocate
Your empty life.
And alleviate
Me from the knife.

We commemorate
The suicidal hearts.
Who couldn't communicate
From the start.

Despondent nights
Of a falling moon.
Never knowing what was right
Because I gave up too soon.

As immutable
As the sun.
And as wonderful
But it wasn't done.

like lucid glass
Or opaque doors.
The tremors pass
I fall to the floor.

Violation
So profane.
Desecration
Of my pain.

Just one more lie
To give it up.
You'll have to die
I've had enough.

You undermine
You'll never know.
This is your sign
To just let it go.

You have to try
You can't give up now.
I'll have to say goodbye
Although I'm not sure how.

I'll find the road
I'll find a way.
My heart explodes
Into yesterday.

You know your poetry is totally wicked, right!
I have told you once and I'll tell you again.
Your poetry is the best there is!
So I guess I'll retire because there is no reason to compete with someone who is as good as you!
