My head is in the clouds, it always is.
~until you bring me down and set me straight again.

My heart is with you, all the time.
~until you break it, i pray you don't.

My mind is strong, though my emotions are weak.
~sometimes you strengthen me and sometimes your the reason I'm weak.

My eyes are wet, my hair a tangle. My clothes are tattered, my make-up smudged. My once rosy cheeks are now pale and my red lips no longer smile.

I walk down this road waiting for you to pick me up, hold me in your loving arms, and reassure me that everything is going to be okay.

We may fight, but they don't understand. I hear all they're lies, but i don't believe them. I don't want to and i shouldn't have to.

Why can't we act like we did "that first night." Thats how i refer to it.
I know you still care, you may say you don't but you can't lie to me.
