World of lies

by Hassan Metwally   Feb 4, 2007

Everyday is like the movies,
everyone put up acts and masks,
to hide their true self.
The act i use is diverse,
it is unique,
it is classical,
but not original at all.
The mask i wear shows,
happiness,
proudness,
and self perseverance.
Though underneath truly lies,
sadness,
lack of confidence,
and loneliness.
It sickens me that the world has come to be like this,
a world of lies.
