Love Comes Knocking

by Tiffany   Feb 4, 2007

Love knocks on my front door,
I debate whether or not to answer.
I knew eventually this time would come,
But didn't know it would show its face so soon.

Love knocks again,
But this time a little bit louder.
I just stood there afraid to respond.
Was I ready to receive the things
Love was offering?

Love began to knock again,
But didn't stop.
This time the beat was more fiercely.
I knew it was time.
I had to my fears,
And face what Love has in store for me.

I open the door and was incomplete shock.
Love stares me in the eyes.
I'm speechless. I can't think of anything to say

Love takes me by the hand,
Promising a life of pure Love.
Nothing Less.
I just hope my heart doesn't get hurt in the process.
