Are We Even?

You found me on the floor,
With a bootle of booze,
And a gun in my hand.

You seen tears running from my eyes,
I really wanted to kill you then,
But i wanted to die.

I throw the bottle across the wall,
Glass cutting my face.
As you stay safe in the hall,
Blood drips to my mouth for one last taste.

I take the gun and aim it to my head.
I hear you gasp, and I think,
I'm sorry baby but I've got to end.

My mind gets narrow,
Blocking all the noise.
Replaying all the sorrow,
Replaying your voice.

I slid you a note,
As you didn\'t take it.
I said, " It's something I wrote."
Seems like you didn't want to face it.

You stand there devistated,
Tears drowning your eyes,
And pulling that trigger,
Made everything more complicated.

I looked away, and closed my eyes.
I pulled the trigger quickly,
Only thing I heard,
Was your cry.

"CLICK!"

My eyes open,
My hands shaking
Fearing to even blink or breath,
What do i do then?

You slowly walked over,
And you took the note and grabed the gun from my hand.
I swore that I loaded the gun,
Did God change my plan?

You took me in your arms,
You held me tight.
I couldn't beleive,
That this miricale happened tonight.

I creid myself to sleep,
And you stayed with me.
You read the note which said,
"I'm sorry, are we even?"
