Why I Love You

by A Christoffer   Feb 6, 2007

You asked me why I loved you,
and I didn't know what to say.
I told you you were beautiful
and that I thought about you everyday.

But the question you asked me,
left me standing there thinking.
Why did I love you?
Why did I have these feelings?

I looked into your eyes
and started to speak.
I told you I love you
because your unique.

I said that you smiled like an angel and you walked with such grace.
I said you were funny
and everything about you falls into place.

I said everything about you was flawless.
You are so smart and so cute.
You never try to impress.
That's just the way you are.

You always make me feel better.
No matter what's wrong.
You can always fix it
to the very last letter.

So that's why I love you.
And all this is true.
If you ask me again,
this is what I'll tell you.

Most guys just say: you're ok. It's nice to see some men do know how to express themselves.
I am giving you a 5/5 for this lovely poem.

    Take care,
