I really liked that stanza, it really stood out to me.
I thought the last stanza had great impact.
A beautiful write even though it was so very sad.

We never know what life holds in store for us Cindy.
The trick is to take it each day at a time.
It's so precious and it could be snatched away from any of us at any given time.
So enjoy every moment
Such a heart-wrenching poem that raises so many different feelings.

I am glad you have something to hold on to. I feel so sad for all the sadness you endure but I selfishly want you to stay here with us as long as possible. Thank you for sharing your heart with us!

Cindy, I can relate to this on a very deep level. My child is growing up before my very eyes and I just want to hold on and never let go, but I know that I must. It's just so hard. I have read several of your poems today and I like the way that you write, it is very poignant.
