Lucky me

You called me on the phone
but you didn't even know me
I picked up and heard you out
but just tought,"this dude's a phony
lucky for you I was upset
and felt extremely lonely
otherwise I'd have hung up
thinking this guys calling cause he's ho@#y
well these past months we've got farther
than I ever expected
and a sign of true love
my radar has detected
this feeling of affection
has grown extremely fast
and I'm hoping that I've found
my superman at last
I haven't had a moment
of boredom at your side
and that frown I'd always known
around you seems to hide
well look what you have done
got me writing you a poem
and this Sunday afternoon
I'm going to bring you home
whoever lost the paper
that placed you in my path
is the one I hold responsible
for this stories aftermath.
