The Past

Why did I trust you with my heart,
You broke it and got someone else,
Our once one heart has been torn apart,
But all you think about is yourself.

I could see it in your eyes how much you cared about me,
All of it is now in the past,
Our love was as beautiful as a sunset on the sea,
But it was all to good to last.

Whenever it rains,
I feel like those raindrops are my tears,
Who knew that a heart could go through so much ache and pains,
What has happened has become all of my fears.

Its hard enough holding on,
But even harder tyring to let go,
When two hearts were once one,
And it all seems as if it wasnt so.
