No one really cares is what she said to me,
all this time she had it so i believed it was my fault
she ran away; ran away to a place to which she
couldn't return home because she went to far and
now she's completely gone. What was I supposed
to do she made me promise to never hold her down,
I couldn't cry for help because shew made it so clear
that she didn't want any one else around.
She said that she needed me to be there then she
said to me again no one really cares so what
Worth am I now.
I had found a true friend, now
I'm cold and alone again. She would
build me up while breaking herself down,
she sunk herself to the bottom just to stand me
on solid ground she put her trust in me and I gave
her mine as well she could read every expression
on my face when no one else could tell.
I tried so hard I honestly did to keep her here
with me but she wouldn't listen complicated she
was made it so hard to pay attention.
I had laid there next to her hearing her gasp
for each breath her fragile hand hovering over
mine while telling me to let loose of all the memories
I had kept. "I love you and you're the only one
who really cares" that's what she said to me before she left.
