Script

by Bill Turner   Feb 6, 2007

The silver moon hangs upon a string
Another prop in my ever changing life
Back lighting my world, shining for you
Illuminating the love light in your eyes
Casting a shadow of passion across your thighs

Come morning the sun will write a new script
Casting warmth upon our skin and our souls
Showing the glow of our love against cool sheets
Lost in a world of passionate love and desire
Where I burn hot for you like an eternal pyre

The setting sun creates another wonderful mood
As the scenes keep rolling along in my life
Radiance of evening light showing your beauty in every way
Drawing me ever to you, our twin souls shall entwine
Drinking from your love, like a fine sparkling wine

Although the scenes constantly change
The props and extras come and go
And, the script seems to flow ever onward
I am blessed to star in this life with you
For I love you and all that you do

I am baffled to why a poem as good as this is rated so low?

I have read the comments and it is clear that anyone who has chosen to give you a low vote has also decided not to give you a reason for doing so. I know why, it is because they are underhand voters, just voting to get a reaction. I am sure that you don't give them the pleasure, but still it annoys me enough to let you know.

    Take care

If only we could all be blessed so much as to find a love so true and deep.

I truly enjoy the vivid images and the warmth that radiates from this. It brings hope that someday love will find it's way to me just as you have painted it to be.

This was an amazing poem and your storytelling ability is superb. i don't really understand why it's rated so low but I guess everyone can agree that system is pretty flawed. Keep it up.
