Wish Its All A Dream

Laying in bed listening to him scream,
I close my eyes and wish its all a dream.
I hear him smack her across the face,
I pray dear lord get me out of this place.
I feel her pain and i start to cry,
God I wish I would just die.
My mother yells as loud as she can,
I wonder if he thinks this makes him a better man.
I hate when they fight,
I hate when they yell.
Im dying inside cant anyone tell.
Finally its over,he finally wins,
I just hope I dont have to hear it again.
