A fools errand

Single yet again on this hallmark holiday,
The boy I long for is alone too,
I jokingly say that we are alone together,
But oh how amazing if it were true
Who would not want to be with you?

The errand of a fool it is to chase this love,
It slowly chips away at my poor heart,
You do not even know this,
I long for you even when we are apart,
Why are my emotions not smart?

So when Cupid aims his arrow,
Let it choose cleverly my love,
I would obtain this love for just a day,
Maybe I am just a girl you get tired of,
And I will let this love fly away like a dove.

Valentines day,
Please be sweet,
I do not want another heartbreak,
I will just enjoy the tiny little treats,
But a love on this day would make it complete.

    The reference to valentines day I think pulled it together and made you think more clearly on the topic. I've been in this situation before. i really enjoyed reading this one =)

    Power to us girls!!! Who cares that it's Valentine's Day...? I don't! I'm going to be "hanging" out with a friend of mine. He and I have history, and I wrote a french poem for him! Hopefully that will show him my feelings for him still! I'm going to say, "Go for him girl"! What have you got to lose? You don't have him right now, so all you have to gain is him!

    Cuteness!!! I loved it allot. This part was my favorite...Because iit had a really good flow ad your choice of words were really good...
