A time to die

by Scrittore   Feb 7, 2007

A time to die no better than today
I think I should ponder every single way
Should I take this knife, slash my wrists
Pretend like the pain doesn't exsist?
A bottle of asprin and whisky should do the trick
Again and again I only make myself sick
Flames could cover my body till I burn
Maybe in time it's lesson I'll learn
The gun is pointed against my head
Wishing my brain would feel it's lead
A rope tied tightly around my throat
Will anyone read this letter I wrote?
In front of a bus I once did jump
Hoping the passengers would hear a thump
Thrasing my arms under the water
Drowning maybe isn't the right slaughter
I could place a bag over my head and sleep
Though asphyxiation may seem cheap
I die a little more each and every day
With each tear I cause more decay
Maybe it'll end this way
