A Dream to Cry

Stretched on a lawn
Gazing at the sky
Alone in the yard
And a tear rolls down her eye

Thinking of times
She has calmly spoken
To the love
Who later would leave her heart broken

Thinking of love
How it's here then it's gone
And how a lonely girl
Cries for love and has none

And how the echoes
Of the past's betrayal
And how her secret crush's love
Is now wearing a veil

How on valentines day
She lays on her bed
Thinking of him, and hears bells
For now they are wed

A stab in the heart
A pain in the chest
Can't compare
To the pain that is best....
...heartbroken

Nothing to do
But bare the pain
And watch those two
Kiss again and again

Somthing must

It can't be those two
So it had to be her heart

Just when she thought
He was her man
This woman unravels
Him from her hand

Staring unto the ocean
Out upon the sea
She sits and thinks,
"He counld be here with me"

But he's not and he won't
And because of the dread
She sadly thinks
Of his kisses on her head

She's all riled up
And just when she's about to scream
And holds it in
Because it's all a dream...
