What is a Mother?

by Robbie M   Feb 7, 2007

What is a Mother?

To: My Mom.
The rain clouds that hinder sunny days,
Are no match for the light you radiate.

A Mother is thankful for each day that she lives
From when the sun rises, to the goodnight kiss she gives.
A Mother is a person who is always there.
One who can give love when there is no more to share.
A Mother is someone whom tries her best
At raising three sons, which is tiring, but still never rests.
A Mother stands firmly and never falls to the ground.
Through the darkest of hour, on her knees she will not be found.
A Mother has faith in one day she will win
She will rise to the top taking with her beloved kin.
A Mother has heart which hurt dwells within
Managing to suppress, no overcome it, time and time again.
A Mother puts feeling into the words that she speaks.
When “I love you” is spoken all hearts begin to weep.
A Mother cannot become like you, nor I.
Because we can lose hope but hers does not die.
But my Mother is unsurpassable and I shall conclude with this:
Ill always love you mom. From when the sun rises to that goodnight kiss.
