A story for the heart broken

This is my story
of a heart-broken girl
one that was lied to
and cheated on
he said he would love her - always
and he would leave her - never
the kisses that he gave her were not true
and now she thinks her life is through
he led her on and borke her heart
told her he loved her
and she was his life
he told her someday
he would make her his wife
but little did she know
his words meant nothing
just ask all the girls
she was traped in an illusion
one so hard to grasp
right after she saw the other girls
she fell crying to her death
this story of a girl..
is my story

    This was really good. A lot of emotion and easy to relate to. It didn't have much of a rhyme scheme but it was still a great read. Poems don't always have to rhyme... I do have a suggestion though, "he told her someday he would make her his wife", try breaking that line into two. 5/5
