Keep Hoping

First of all
I do not see
Why out of all the boys
You chose me

Im not the smartest
Or the best looking
Im not an artist
Or even good at cooking

This is eating me away
Having to wait like this
But I will not go astray
This is something I will not miss

Try as we might
To get together
Most things seem to fight
To keep us apart

It doesnt seem fair
For it to be this way
But I dont care
Because it will be someday

Someday it will be
Just like we want it
Just you and me
If I get lucky

I still do not see
Why out of them all
Im the one you see
Maybe its cause Im tall?
