Fathers v. Dads

He's there when you get up in the
Morning, But he's not when you go To bed at night,
He says he'll come to your play
But shows up as you walking away
This is a DAD not a FATHER

He says he'll pick you up after School, so you're not waiting there Like a fool,
He says he'll make you're day and Take you to your favorite play
This is FATHER not a DAD

A DAD helped to make you
A FATHER helped you become you
A DAD doesn't care
A FATHER will find your dad Anywhere

You are a FATHER not a DAD

    I thought it was awesome cause i know my dad was not there in mine or my little brothers live and know that we have a step dad he was but more of a father to us then our dad has. keep up the good work

    I dont know it feels to have a dad cause he always took off on me when i was little and did it to my little brother to but mom got remarried and know we have a father and it took a lot for him to stand up to be the awesomes step father we had.i thought it was good keep it up
