Bullet for a Fake

by Ryan C   Feb 8, 2007

Standing in the hall,
Summer turns to fall,
She's still not here yet,
Guess that you've won the bet.
Then a shout calls out and she's standing here,
Says she's sorry and that she's drowning in fear.
A man bursts through the crowd,
I hear a burst sound loud,
And she begs me for her life.
I'm tired of taking this for her,
This is not my bullet to take,
She needs to understand,
cause it's searching for a fake.
And we're talking to each other,
Nothing seems to happen except,
What we say to one another,
She calls me her big brother.
I hear a burst sound loud,
She's crying in the crowd,
She says she means it this time,
What she did was not a crime.
I'm tired of taking this for her,
This is not my bullet to take,
She needs to understand,
cause it's searching for a fake.
I'm tired of taking this for her,
This is not my bullet to take,
She needs to understand,
cause it's searching for a fake.
She's there and bleeding,
I die I'm screaming,
And she knows I'm dreaming,
cause I'm not breathing.
I'm tired of taking this for her,
This is not my bullet to take,
She needs to understand,
cause it's searching for a fake.
