The Real Me

by Perfect Facade   Feb 8, 2007

Long brown hair,
With a flirty smile,
Provocative clothing,
Was always my style.

Attracting attention,
Never unwanted,
A voluptuous figure,
Is what I flaunted.

A glance in the mirror,
My reflection staring back.
But its all an image,
Something real is what I lack.

My personality,
Never shined through,
This perfect facade.
Now its time to start anew.

Strip me down,
To begin again.
Cleanse my soul,
Of this faded stain.

Long black hair,
With a timid smile,
Unshaped clothing,
How do you like my style?

Attracting attention,
From the right sort.
A fun-loving personality,
Is what I support.

Looking in the mirror,
Something real I see.
Happy and satisfied that,
I'm finally the real me.
