In Her room

by kristin cummins   Feb 8, 2007

She sits up in her room
waiting for the door to slam
before she goes down mama says they were just talking but that not what it sounded like to me.

she stays alone waiting for the OK to come on down she walks quietly to make sure he's gone.

She's afraid of him and what he'll do when she's down there she doesn't want to see her mama hurting or crying but heres nothing she can do to stop it her mama just comes back for more.

It happens so quick you don't even have time to walk or look away you don't dare do nothing cause you'll be the next he's waiting for the moment to show you what happens when you don't listen.

she sit up in her room a lot waiting for the door to slam to let her know it's OK to come down now he's gone for a little while.
