Constant Loss

by Robert S. Velez   Feb 8, 2007

Constant loss

Always missing the exit
Always running the red
Always losing something that could mean so much to me
I keep ignoring the things that are good for me

Walking down through these hollow hallways
Wondering if us is meant to be
Hoping that repentance can be made
Hoping to hear the words that can set this soul free

So focused yet so lost, trapped in this cage of my own mind
So many thoughts, so many questions! no answers
The thoughts in my head pound at my temples, begging for release
This whole situation makes me so angry, NEVER PEACE DO I FIND

NEVER DO THESE ACTIONS MAKE SENSE
NEVER DOES THIS HEART MEND
NEVER DO I GET REPENTANCE
NEVER DOES MY ANGER END.

I'm done, and tired
