Like a pin to a balloon
you burst my heart right into
we were falling to fast too soon
couldn't see it coming until boom

like staples to paper
though my heart
like ripped paper
tears i cry ed over you
now i know i was a silly fool

to have ever of known you
to have ever of fallen
like a star from the sky
with a heart now ripped apart

i look back with open eyes
no more ties i was blind
now alert and glad its over

thinking we could of been
now makes me laugh like a teen
