Right Beside Me

On the ground,
Now I lay,
Broken and confused,

No one is near,
Helping me,
When im at my low,

As I lay here,
Im watching,
Everyone go by,

They are drunk,
In there own little world,
As I lay here,

Days go on,
I feel something,
Someone has lain down,

Right beside me,
I feel their hand,
Grasp mine,

I just continue to lie here,
As they,
Pull me in,
For a warm and safe hug,

And for a moment,
One small second,
The world melted away,
Into a world,
Where nothing matters,

That is were I want to stay,
But nothing good lasts forever,
And soon im alone again,
To face this cruel world,
All alone.
