That day that he left us Was the worst day of my life Memories of the two of us I hold to me near and tight felt honored and proud That you were my dad That I was there your last days All the time that you had He helped me when I needed him When the whole world turned away He gave me strength to face the world And fight another day He had his little sayings That made you laugh and smile He picked you up when you were down And makes troubles fade a while If you met him you would love him If you knew him you were blessed If he loved you, you are honored Cause you were loved by the very best Memories are all I need To get me through the day You made an impact on my life And made me what I am today. This poem is for my dad I miss him so much Thinking about him makes me sad But I know one day we’ll met again.
